Due to the monthly promotions from airline operators, flying has become a constant of daily life. For this fall, and not only, here are some of the novelties of the sector.
Tarom celebrates 61 years with flight tickets from 99 euro
TAROM celebrates 61 years of flying, offering tickets from 99 euros on several international destinations. Between 18 and 30 September 2015 you can buy tickets for the period of time 15 October 2015-15 April 2016, except for the days between 15.12.2015-15.01.2016 as follows:
99 euro: round-trip flights between Bucharest and Athens, Belgrade, Budapest, Istanbul, Chisinau, Larnaca, Thessaloniki and Sofia. Also between Iasi – Bologna, Rome or Turin
119 euro: price valid for flights Bucharest – Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Geneva, Moscow, Munich, Prague, Stockholm, Vienna, Valencia. Also valid for Iaşi -Munich, Sibiu -Munich and Cluj Napoca -Vienna
139 euro: price valid for flights Bucharest – Amman, Barcelona, Beirut, Brussels, Dubai, London, Madrid, Nice, Paris or Tel Aviv but also for Iasi -Luton (London) and Tel Aviv
Ryanair has big plans for Romania
Ryanair Holdings, the largest low-cost air company in Europe desires to become the largest domestic low-cost airline in the world by 2024, with a fleet of over 500 aircraft and 160 million passengers, according to the statement of Denis Barabas, Sales & Marketing Executive of Ryanair Romania.
For October 2015 Ryanair will launch a new website ( will also have the option for Romanian language) and a very nice option to block a fair on tickets. It gives you the opportunity ( for a 5 euro charge) to block for 24 hours the price of a ticket, so you can have time to think J. The airline will also launch new uniforms with a little more classic appearance making plans for next year to introduce new aircraft and new on-board menus.
As for Bucharest, in the summer 2016, the traffic will increase by 90% with the launch of 8 new routes. There will be five flights a week to Bologna, one per day to Brussels Charleroi, 4 a week to Dublin, 2 a day to London, one flight per day to Madrid and Milan Bergamo, four weekly flights to Milan Malpensa and two daily flights to Rome Ciampino. In total, 23,500 seats per week, 62 weekly flights. Currently, Ryanair operates in 31 countries, with a fleet of over 300 aircraft.
Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced the program for summer 2016
If difference is in the details, Wizz Air prepared in advance. Since March, respectively, May 2016, the company introduces three new routes from Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest to Munich, Hamburg and Glasgow.

Wizz Air also announced the increase of flights for the existing routes such as Bucharest – London (Luton) or Cluj-Napoca – Nuremberg. Wizz Air network in Romania will benefit from a new Airbus A321 aircraft and four A320 and four A321 aircrafts, which will be distributed on the most popular routes, like London – Luton, Brussels – Charleroi, Rome – Ciampino and Madrid. Tickets for the new flights are already available with prices starting from 129 lei (30 E) and can be booked on wizzair.com website.
