As you already read and title, this month all Amadeus partners are given full access to the Blue Air offers for all sales channels, including the carrier’s website. So now we have the transparency of the data displayed by the system, both if you are a travel agency or a traveler. The partnership between Blue Air and Amadeus integrates a wide range of flights on European routes for Amadeus online and offline users. The e-ticketing system is available through BSP in Romania, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK, France, Cyprus, Greece Israel and Belgium.
According to the statements of Tudor Constantinescu, Commercial Director Blue Air: “This means that Amadeus users sell all 42 regular Blue Air destinations operating in Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Romania, Spain and the United Kingdom. Partnering with Amadeus is one of the key steps for Blue Air in the expansion of operations agenda.” Furthermore, the agreement is part of Blue Air strategy to increase passenger numbers from 1.5 million in 2014 to 2, 5 million in 2017.
Currently, some 70 low-cost and hybrid airliners distribute their offer through Amadeus, benefiting from its network of travel agencies that work with this system, globally covering more than 200 markets.
