It may be that the time outside gives us a big headache but last night I found the perfect remedy to face the cold: live music, coffee and the launch party for a new blog – www.elliewhite.ro.
And because we like to bring together talented people I decided to organize the party in a location as tempting as a hot cup of coffee in a cold day – The Coffee Factory. An so it was that Ellie, alongside friends, celebrities and bloggers from Romania, celebrated her birthday as well as the launch of the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe assortment, the black coffee that will bear her name. The Coffee Factory is the location where you will find – every month starting March – a new flavor of coffee under the name “Ellie White – Black Coffee” (By Contego Coffee). This month we picked “Ethiopia Yirgacheffe” a handpicked coffee in the farms settled in the mountains that surround the Yirgacheffe city (Sidamo region) in South Ethiopiei, 1,800 m above sea level. For the ones who are curious about this assortment of coffee I am also adding that the coffee beans are washed and soaked for 72 hours in fermentation tanks, method used to accent the floral flavor of the coffee.
Among the guests present at the event were Ileana Badiu, Carmen Negoita, Geanina Ilies, Andreea Runceanu, Patricia Cimpoiasu (Amadeus music band), Florin Grozea or Sorin Dutoiu (ADPM PR). To spice the evening the bartender from The Coffee Factory, winner of numerous championships in the field, challenged Ellie White, Ileana Badiu and Carmen Negoita to play and ornate a few cups of coffee with foam, in so starting playtime moments based on imagination and fun. The evening program also included a live recital, time for Ellie to sing unplugged, her most popular hit singles.
For more details on what it means to be a music star you will find out directly from Ellie’s blog and we will intersect with her and with you on the next campaigns that we are planning – as the music, art and travel go hand in hand.
