It’s time for Romanian Jazz Days in Hungary

A traveler to Budapest? A jazz fan? Than we have a good news for you. There is only one day remaining until the Romanian Cultural Institute in Budapest is organizing the second edition of “Romanian Jazz Days in Hungary” (September 22 to 24, 2015) event which will be held at Budapest Music Center and Szentendre, a small town near the Hungarian capital.

Last year the first edition of ” Romanian Jazz Days in Hungary ” took place in Budapest and was dedicated to the memory of two important Romanian jazz musicians: Johnny Răducanu and Jancsi Korossy honoring them by two tribute – concerts that brought onto the scene: Nicolas Simion (saxophone), Sorin Romanescu (guitar), Albert Tajti (piano) and Michael Acker (bass), alongside a special guest from Hungary: István Gyárfás (guitarist).

This year’s edition offers the public in Budapest and Szentendre the opportunity to listen to jazz musicians and composers Mircea Tiberian and Ana-Cristina Leonte, Sorin Zlat, Razvan Cojanu or Claudiu Purcarin (“Sorin Zlat Trio”). They will be joined on stage by Hungarian jazz musicians Kristóf Bacsó (saxophone) and Gábor Juhász (guitar). Nothing else to say but: go enjoy 3 days of fine music in one of Europe’s best cities.
