New flight to Birmingham announced by Wizz Air

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced on September 30 the launching of a new route: Bucharest – Birmingham. Flights will begin on 22 May 2016, twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. Tickets for the new route are already on sale and can be booked on wizzair.com at prices starting from 40 euros.

According to the statements of Tamara Mshvenieradze, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air: “The new route to Birmingham not only strengthens their position as market leader in Romania, but also gives an opportunity for their guests ( business or tourism travelers) to explore West Midlands at reduced rates, from only 40 euros. Also, the low prices are attracting many visitors in the Romanian capital Bucharest, boosting tourism and strengthening the business relations between the two countries. ”
