There is no joke here. This time it is true: our capital is in the top 25 most popular cities in the world … at Monopoly!
And let’s admitted, we all played Monopoly at least once. You know, that game where you buy and sale real estate properties for fun … of course. This year the map of Monopoly Here & Now was reorganized, 24 of the most popular cities in the world being placed on the game board..
In the international voting campaign launched by manufacturer Hasbro entered 80 cities around the world, Bucharest, the capital of Romania ranking in the first 25, ahead of destinations like Los Angeles, Berlin, Prague, Paris, Barcelona and Rio de Janeiro.
Represented by Henri Coanda Airport, Bucharest has now some pretty famous neighbors such as Hong Kong, Lima and Lisbon, due to the large vote that the diaspora has given to the city.
For the moment, all that remains to do is waiting for the game to be launched so we can have our own version of Monopoly Here & Now.
