This is an invitation to art and beauty. Starting March 26 until April 16, 2015, the ELITE ART GALLERY invite you to see the collective exhibition FERESTRE ( Windows). The opening of the exhibition will take place Thursday, March 26, from 17:30 to 19:00. The works exhibited show a diversity of artistic techniques, from oil painting to sculpture. The artists who exhibit are: Doina David, Corina Preda – Perianu, Vlad Dan Perianu & Mariana Gavrilă Vesa.
Doina David’s works delight us with a modern approach regarding the cross symbol, studying the representation of the crucifix as a symbol of joy and rebirth, not just crucifixion. The artist creates installations that illustrate this vision of light, using wood and other natural materials and exploiting the native gift for painting fine details.
Corina Preda – Perianu is studying the architectural plasticity of the worship places & churches, capturing the beauty and abundance of color strokes in the interior paintings. In her canvases, the attention to detail is combined with the synthesis of shape and highlighting its essence through styling. The result is a fresh approach to ecclesiastical motifs, gathering spiritual aesthetic with contemporary painting.
Vlad – Dan Perianu explores the three-dimensional aspect of the artistic expression, transforming spiritual inspiration into highly stylized sculptures. His works are marked by flexibility and warm aesthetic.
Mariana Gavrila Vesa exhibits paintings from the series “Archetypes – reliquary, gestures and signs”. The artist investigates nostalgia for the place where she grew up, for her grandparents and their memories, highlighting a world shrouded in details of personal significance, marked by folkloric symbols and light. The traditional towels are a favorite theme, having their own special place in the hearts of people.
The exhibition will be open between March 26 to April 16, 2015, every day from Monday to Friday between the hours 11:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays between 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at ELITE ART GALLERY, Academy Street, No. 15, Sector 1, Bucharest.
