As the weeks are passing by the madness begins in search for the best winter holidays destination. All for the best as Austrian Airlines introduces new flight destinations in Asia and Africa.
To start with, from October 16, 2015, a Boeing 777 Austrian Airlines will fly to Miami every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, flight available throughout the year. The flight duration is 9 hours and 40 minutes and the price for a return ticket, departing from Bucharest, starts at 529 euros, all taxes included.
Now let’s move to more sunny destinations. From 29 October 2015 nonstop flights Vienna-Mauritius (every Thursday) and Mauritius-Vienna ( every Friday) are introduced in the Austrian Airlines schedule. The flight last for 11 hours and will land you at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport of Mauritius.
From October 27th, 2015 Austrian Airlines also start the weekly flights (every Tuesday) to the capital of Sri Lanka – Colombo, performed with a Boeing 767 aircraft. Sri Lanka is a destination available only during the winter, with a 9:00 hours flight duration and prices starting from 545 euros, all taxes included (tickets from Bucharest).
On April 4, 2016 the company adds on their grid the city of Shanghai, a Boeing 777 being scheduled to perform five flights per week (Vienna – Shanghai), while, starting 1 May 2016, the flights will be operated daily. With an estimated duration of 10 hours and fares on the route Bucharest – Shanghai starting at 599 E, all taxes included, it is a pretty attractive offer. In Romania, Austrian Airlines operates 49 weekly flights from Bucharest, Sibiu, Iasi and Cluj-Napoca to Vienna, the new destinations being now a new opportunity to start planning our sunny Christmas holiday.
